Linen, canvas, masonite or copper, this is selected types of material I am used to painting on, however I was asked by Cowgirl Up! curator, Mary Ann Igna and Cowgirl Up! Chairwoman, Elaine Schweitzer, to paint a 47 inch high, 42 inch long fiberglass boot for the 2016 Cowgirl Up! Auction March 19, 2016. How could I refuse. Yes!! How exciting!
Several years ago, I saw a life size horse and wanted to paint it...did not get to pursue the life size horse, Shucks. But I got a BOOT!
